Attica – James Raymond Stacker, 76, of 603 Perry St died at 11 p.m. Saturday in Community Hospital, Williamsport where he had been a patient the past month. Born in Warren County, he resided in Attica 26 years. He was a farmer and had handled custom trucking of livestock until his retirement in 1957. He was a member of the Attica Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge. He was married to Opal Masterson in 1937.  Surviving with the widow is one stepdaughter Mrs. Iris Sutton of Attica; one brother, Edgar Stacker of Lafayette; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Cooper of Lafayette.   – kbz

Source: Same – Stacker, James R. – Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica. Masonic services there 8 p.m. Monday.  Funeral services there 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Louis Haskell of Attica Methodist Church officiating; interment Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Surviving is a grandchild.
