SPROULS, Vera Cox - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Vera E. Sprouls of Perrysville, age 86, died Sunday morning, September 19, in Americana Nursing Home in Danville, Illinois. She was born at Elmdale, September 16, 1896, the daughter of William W. and Anna B. Gardner Cox. April 8, 1920, she married Clarence B. Sprouls, who died April 10, 1971. Mrs. Sprouls was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women’s circle and Homemakers Club.

  Survivors are a daughter, Murial Wilson of rural Veedersburg; two sisters, Olive Crowder and Lucille Spandaugh, both of Perrysville; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Richard Pippin officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery.
