Alice Sarah Springman passed away at her home 305 E. Jackson St, Saturday morning July 23 at 3:30. Alice Sarah Springman was born March 8, 1868 ta Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of Elizabeth Hodgen and
Thomas McCarty. She graduated from the Frankfort HS with the class of 1888. On January 29, 1890, she was married to Fred Springman who survives her. One son, Gilberie, preceded her in death June 12, 1931. She is survived by one brother, Trace McCarty of Greentown, Indiana, two grandchildren, Gilberie F. Springman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Leslie Kirkman of Attica and three great grandchildren, Julie and Bill Kirkman of Attica and GF Springman of Indianapolis.
She had lived in Attica for the past 57 years. She was a member of the Christian Church. She had been ill five weeks. Funeral services were held from the family residence in Attica, Monday afternoon at 2 with Rev. James McKowan officiating.
