Keith Arden Sprague of San Diego, California, age 58, died September 26 in Sharp Cabriole Hospital at San Diego. He was born at Tipton, November 20, 1926, the son of Roscoe William and Dicie Freeman Sprague. August 12, 1945, he married Barbara Elizabeth Phillips, who died February 21, 1966. A graduate of Covington High School, he was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and Korean War. He worked at Allisons in Indianapolis and was associated with his parents in the Sprague Department Store at Covington and later managed a shoe store there. He was a member of Brownsburg Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his mother of Covington; a daughter, Seena McDonald of Keener, Louisiana; a son, Steve Eugene, at home in San Diego; and a brother, Zane E. of Solana Beach, California.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Robert H. Miller officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington.-s
