Wallace, Ind - Everett Spragg, 84 died at 7 a.m. Aug 3, 1957 at his home near Wallace. Born June 9, 1873 he was the son of John and Eldora Bowman Spragg. He was married in 1893 to Emma Shoaf. He served for two years as assessor of Jackson Township and president of the Wallace Telephone Company and Lutheran Cemetery Board. Survivors include 3 sons: Oral and Clifford of Kingman Rt 1; and Paul of Crawfordsville; Rt 3; 3 daughters, Mrs. Estle Stockdale of Veedersburg Rt 1; Mrs Omma Carter of Kingman and Mrs Phrana Butler of Crawfordsville; 5 grandchildren, including Mrs. Verna Garrett of Newtown Ind who was reared in his home; and nine great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m Tuesday at the Wallace Lutheran Church with Revs Wilbar Allen and Edward Busch officiating. Burial in Lutheran Cemetery. The Body is at the Sevies Funeral Home, Wayentown but will be returned to the residence until time for the service.
