WALLACE -- Lucille Oveta Spragg, 31, died in her home at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday after a long illness. She had been bedfast since last November. A daughter of Everett and Dora Russell McCloud, she was born in Montgomery County Nov. 2, 1931. She married Donald Spragg at Waveland, May 14, 1950. Mrs. Spragg was a member of the Freedom Congregational Christian Church. She was president of the Ladies Aid Society and was director of music and Sunday school teacher for several years at the church. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Mark and Gregory, at home; the father, Everett McCloud of Waveland, a sister, Mrs. Richard Johnson of Russellville, a brother, Ernest McCloud of Crawfordsville, the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lula Russell of Coatesville, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Freedom Church, where the body will lie in state for an hour from 1 p.m. Friends may call at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown from 2 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday. Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate at the services, and burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery near Wallace.
