Wallace, Ind - Clifford Spragg, 82 of Kingman Rt 1, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday Jan 1, 1978 at his home NW of Wallace. Death was due to a heart attack. Mr. Spragg had farmed in Jackson and Fountain Twps (sic) all his life. He was a member of the Wallace Phanuel Lutheran Church and Jackson Township Farm Bureau. He attended Wallace High School. Born January 1, 1896 in Jackson Twp, Fountain County, he was the son of William Evertt and Emma Shoaf Spragg. On May 9, 1923 he married Sylvia Hutson of Marshall who survives. Other survivors include a son, Donald of Kingman Rt 1; 3 sisters, Mrs. Estle Stockdale and Mrs. Merril (Phronia) Butler both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Omma Carter of Kingman'; a brother, Paul of Carwfordsville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother, Ora. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown. Rev. George Huff officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran cemetery. Visitation today at the funeral home.
