SPIVEY, Theron (Bud) - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gibsonton, Fla – Theron (Bud) Spivey, 85. Gibsonton, Fla, formerly of Bloomingdale died Aug 31. 1997 in Brandon Hospital, Brandon, Fla.  He was born July 31, 1922 in Covington, the son of ST Spivey and Ruth Coffing Spivey.  He married Phyllis Eppert June 26, 194 in Bloomingdale. She survives.  He was a truck driver.  He served with the Army Air Corps during WWII.  Surviving besides the wife are two sons, Darrell Spivey, Puyalup, Wash; Ben Spivey, Riverview, Fla; four daughters, Judy Lake, Elkhart; Phyllis Kay Duvall, Riverview, Fla; Ruth Baird, Montezuma; Debra Stroup, Chaffee, Mo; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and three sisters, Gennie Effert, Covington, Lettie Helms, Crawfordsville; Jeanettte Mack, Bloomingdale.  He was preceded in death by a son, Sonny Spivey and a brother, Harry Spivey.  Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Community Building, Parke County 4-H Fairgrounds, Rockville with Rev.
