Julia L. Spinning, born July 13, 1878 in Covington, passed away Monday, Nov. 29 at 11:50 p.m. in St. Joseph hospital in Logansport. She had been in ill health several years. She was the daughter of William W. Luke and Miranda Rowland. She was married to Oliver Linn Spinning who preceded her in death August 11, 1929. She is survived by one daughter Mrs. Charles (Jean) Ensfield of Logansport. She was the last of a family of four children. A member of the Covington First Methodist Church and a life resident of Covington. Funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Bodine and Shelby funeral home. Rev. Donald Ashley officiating with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. --typed by Walt W

Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Rev. Donald Ashley officiated.
