The funeral services for Jasper SPINKS of near Covington who formerly lived here was held from the Presbyterian Church Thursday afternoon, Rev JE Fry of Mellott had charge of the service. The grandchildren, Edwina, John and James Guy carried the floral tributes and the pall bearers were Thomas Schultz; Edgar Schultz; James McClure; Charles McQuigg; Jessie McKelvey and James Riffle. Mrs. Mills Gray presided at the piano and music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. Fred Coleman; Mrs. Robert Martin; Dan Gray and Robert Campbell. Several relatives and friends from Cayuga attended the services. Interment was held at the Newtown Cemetery. --- trarancribed by kbz
