Beatrice E. Spence of Attica, age 67, died Saturday afternoon, January 22, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She was born in Gary, July 28, 1915, the daughter of Clair and Ethelyn Mehaffey Nodurft. March 29, 1952, she married William Edward Spence, who survives. She had attended Attica schools and was a retired clerk of the Vogue Clothing Store in Attica.
  Surviving also are three sons, Sam Killian and Larry Killian, both of Lafayette, and Henry Dean Killian of rural West Point; three stepdaughters, Phyllis Christenberry of rural Attica, Mary Ella Cornell of Lafayette and Dorothy Gray of Monticello; three stepsons, Walter Spence and Richard Spence, both of Lafayette, and Lawrence Spence of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a sister, Eleanor McAnnely of Paris, Illinois; a brother, Clair Nodurft of East Flat Rock, North Carolina; 28 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Maus Chapel in Attica with Rev. James Chase officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to s
