SPEARS, Isabel Wakeland - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg - Services for Isabel Spears, 61, Rt. 3, Veedersburg, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Dickerson Funeral Home. She died at 6 a.m. Sunday at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. She was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Fountain County, to Manson and Lola Siegler Wakeland. She is survived by one son, Robert Madaus, Florida; three daughters, Mrs. Donna Long, Illinois, Mrs. Mary Catherine Brown, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Janet Harper, Veedersburg; two brothers Garnett Wakeland, Veedersburg, and John R. Wakeland, Logansport; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church, North Vernon. The Revs. Edgar Kozer and Tony Carson will officiate at the Wednesday service. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
