Hillsboro - Edward Sparling, 84 of Hillsboro, died Friday after a weeks' illness. He had lived in this area the last 30 years, moving here from Illinois. Mr. Sparling was never married and had no immediate survivors. A native of Fowler, her was born April 28, 1880. Funeral rites are set for 10 a.m. Monday at the Crumley-WIlliams Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery here. -- kbz
