COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) – Fletcher Sparks, 58, of Danville Route 5, died at 9:55 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 16, 1968) in St. Elizabeth Hospital shortly after being admitted. Death was from natural causes. Born Feb. 23, 1910, in Tilton, Ill., he was a son of George and Luella Martin Sparks. He was married to Lillian Drews who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Turner, Danville; a sister, Mrs. Doris Brown of Urbana, Ill.; a brother, William Sparks of Fithian, Ill., and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Mr. Sparks attended Fairchild School in Danville. He had farmed for 30 years in the Rileysburg area. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Dale Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday afternoon and night. – jlr
