ATTICA — Delores C. Spangler, formerly of Attica, died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 in her home in Falkville, Ala. She was born June 30, 1935 in Williamsport, the daughter of Clifford and Della Cotton of Williamsport. She worked at the Red Barn in Attica until she retired. She had a lot of other jobs. She enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors include: four sons, James (Sally) Newlin, Williamsport, Harry (Brenda) Newlin, Perrysville, William Newlin, Veedersburg, and Alan (Tammy) Spangler, Falkville, Ala.; two daughters, Della (Bob) Hayman, Covington and Rosemary Ingram, Crawfordsville; a brother, Robert (Rita) Cotten, Kingman; and two sisters, Marie Nickels, Clinton and Helen Lafoe, Crawfordsville. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services were Saturday in Falkville. – jlr
