Rockville - Word has been received of the death of Thomas Leslie Sowers, 61, who died Thursday (Dec 28, 1978) in St. Ann's Hospital at Truth or Consequences, NM. Survivors are 3 aunts, Mrs. Geneva Weaver of Waveland and mrs. Dorothy Powell and Mrs. Myrtle Ingersol both of Crawfordsville and several cousins. He was a retired truck driver and had been in failing health since 1971. He was born March 1, 1917 at Wallace, a son of Roy L. and Mabel Weaver Sowers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Tudor-Herrick Memorial Chapel at Rockville with Rev. Ken Baldoff officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
