SOWERS, Lester - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Lester H. Sowers, 77, of Kingman, died at 9:34 p.m. Monday May 30 in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. Born in Indiana March 31, 1900 he was the son of Sylvester & Gertrude Jackson Sowers. On June 24, 1919 he marr ied Ruth P. Willis who survives. Mr. Sowers was a retired lumberyard manager of Metzler Lumber Company of Kingman. Other survivors include a son, Leroy of Evansville; a granddaughter; 3 great grandch and a niece. He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister. Services were held today Thursday at Woodrow Fun home, Rev. John Neiderhaus & Rev Larry McMillan officiated and burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
