SOWERS, James W. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

This morning at 9 o'clock occurred the death of James W. Sowers at his home, 702 S. Grant Ave. Death was due to a complication of diseases. The deceased was 78 years of age and had lived the greater part of his life in Fountain Co. near Kingman. He was a member of the Friends Church at Kingman. Mr. Sowers is survived by a daughter, Mrs. laura Raas (sic-I have Raab) of Attica and two sons, Earl and Everett Sowers of this city. His wife died two years ago. A short funeral service will be held Wed. morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home here and in the afternoon the body will be taken to Kingman and a funeral will be held on Thursday at the Church. Burial will be made at Kingman.
