SOWERS, Huston - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Huston Sowers, 76, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday in his home four miles northeast of Wallace.  He had been ill for two years and serious for two weeks with a heart ailment. He was a farmer. The son of Emsley and Helen Keller Sowers, he was born in Fountain County January 13, 1874. He married Gertie Keeling at Yeddo Sept 26, 1897. Surviving are the widow; a son Oral of Wallace, three daughtrers, Mrs. Ada Stephens of Mellot; Mrs. Lenora Yerkes of Wallace and Mrs. Thelma Delks of Crawfordsville,10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Fredom church West of Wallace, with Rev. John Servies in charge. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery. Freinds may call at the residence.
