SOWERS, Gilbert Glen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Kingman- Gilbert "Gib" Sowers, 76, of Kingman died unexpectedly at 5:55 a.m. Monday in the business district here. He was a veteran of WWI having served in France. He was born April 27, 1896 in Fountain County, a son of Sylvester and Alice Jackson Sowers. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Iola Brown, and a brother, Lester Sowers, both of Kingman. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Woodrow Funeral Home here with Rev. Larry McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemtetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.   -- kbz
