SOWERS, Elwood H. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Elwood Sowers, a prominent resident of Kingman, died at 7u:15 o'clock Sunday morning at his home after an illness of several weeks with flu and pneumonia. He was 77 years old and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Marshall of Kingman, Mrs. John Brissey living near Lafayette and Mrs. Roy Powell of Indianapolis and one son, Bert Sowers of Indianapolis. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the U. B. church in Kingman, Rev. Sherrill, the pastor officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery at Harveysburg. - thanks to Betty D
