Kingman April 23 -- Clarence Sowers, 67 died at 10:10 o'clock this morning at his home two miles south of Kingman as the result of a stroke suffered Tuesday.   He had been in ill health for several months. Born near Kingman October 12, 1879 he was the youngest son of Andrew and Elizabeth Lindley Sowers. He married Jessie Cowgill at Pine Village.  He was a member of the Kingman United Brethren Church. Surviving are the widow; two brothers, JM Sowers of Covington and Elmer Sowers of Kingman. A granddaughter also survives. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Fairview Church near Tangier. Burial will be in Kingman Cemetery. Friends may call at the Spencer Funeral Home.

  Last rites for Clarence Sowers were held at the Fairview Church Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Winfield Sherrill officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. Mildred Propst, accompanied by Miss Norma Bugg.  Pall bearers were Joe Bland, Elmer Thompson, Volney McCoy, Perry Leonard, William Bowsher and Mr. Davis.    Flower bearers were Mrs. Byron Summers, Mrs. Joe Bland, Mrs. Maude Cory, Mrs. Ward Bowsher, Mrs. Melvin Tower, Mrs. Joe Commons, Mrs. Elmer Thompson, Mrs. Irvin Swaim, Miss Evan Leonard and Miss Bugg.    Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery with Spencer Funeral Home in charge.- thanks to S&E
