Benjamin Sowers, resident of Wallace, died early Sunday morning at the home of his son, Clarence, in Decatur, Ill according to word received by another son, Harold Sowers of Veedersburg. Mr. Sowers was found dead in bed, the victim of a heart attack. He had been spending the winter months at his son's home. The survivors include 5 sons and a daughter. Funeral serv. will be held Tues. afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Lutheran church near Wallace. The body will lie in state from noon until time for the services. - kz

Veedersburg, Jan. 9—Benjamin Sowers, resident of Wallace, died early Sunday morning at the home of his son, Clarence, in Decatur, Ill., according to word received by another son, Harold Sowers, of this place.
