Veedersburg, Ind. (CNS)-- Mrs. Rachel Lucinda Songer, 91, died at 2 a.m. today (Oct. 7, 1966) at the Allen Nursing Home in Rockville. She had been a patient there since last December. Born June 12, 1875, in Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Thomas and Permalia Wood Anglin. She was married March 3, 1895, to Manford Songer, who died. Mrs. Songer was a life resident of Veedersburg and was the last member of a family of six. She was a member of the EUB Church. Survivors include two sons, Hardy Ray of Veedersburg and Robert A. of Waynetown; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Funeral Home. The Rev. Ivan Steed will officiate. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after noon Saturday.   --typed by Walt W

Mrs. Rachel Lucinda Songer, age 91, a native of Veedersburg, died at 2 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the Allen Nursing Home in
Rockville.  She had been a patient there since last December.
Mrs. Songer was born June 12, 1875, in Veedersburg, the daughter of Thomas and Permalia Wood Angilin.  She was married March 3, 1895, to Manford Songer, who died.  She was a life resident of Veedersburg and the last member of a family of six. She was a member of the EUB Church.
She is survived by: two sons, Hardy Ray of Veedersburg and Robert A. of Waynetown; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg.  The Rev. Ivan Steed officiated and burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg.
