Hardy SONGER, 74 for many years owner and operator of Songer Drug Store, Veedersburg died Monday at his home in Danville, IL where he has resided during the past sevearl years. Following the disposal of his Veedersburg strore he was manager of the Liggett Drug Stores for 20 years at Minnespolis, MN.  Mr. Songer was a splendid businessman and citizen of very high character. Born in Veedesburg Nov 23, 1867 he was the son of James and Sarah Isley Songer.  Surviving are the widow, Josephine, one son, George in the US Armed Forces at Ft Ord, Calif; a sister, Mrs. William Goodkins and two brothers, Arthur Sonjger and Manford Songer all of Veederburg.  The body was brought to Parnham Funeral Home, Veedersburg where services were held Thrusday conducted by Rev. OW McGaughey. Burial at Bonebrake cemetery.
