Mrs. Blanche SONGER of Vburg passed away Monday Oct 14, 1957 at 10:45 pm. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Bucholz, S. Terre Haute. Mrs. Songer had been in failing health for the past 2 years & recently undergone surgery. She was the daughter of David & Mary Olloway Vaughn, and was born Nov 25, 1881, Danville, Illinois. She married Arthur Songer March 18, 1918. She was a member of the Veedersburg 1st Christian Church and had spend most of her life in Veedersburg community. She was one of the 1st HS graduates of Veedersburg. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Bucholz of S. Terre Haute. Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. First Chirsitan Church, Veedersburg with Rev. George Mitchell officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery with Fishero funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
