SOLOMON, Flora Ella Cornwell

Mrs. Flora Ella Solomon, 59,  a former resident of Hillsboro, died at her home in Waynetown Tuesday after an illness of 8 months.  She and her husband John Solomon resided on a farm east of Hillsboro before moving to Waynetown 10 years ago.  She was born August 13, 1888, the daughter of William and Lucy Boyer Cornwell in Tennessee.  She married John Solomon June 25, 1906 and was a member of the Glenwood Baptist Church at Kingport, Tenn.

Survivors are the husband, a son, Paul of Kingsport; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Grenard of Waynetown; four brothers, John and Walter Cornwell of Illinois, Richard of Waynetown and Hugh of Tennessee; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Chase and Mrs. Minnie Steachman both of Kingsport, Tenn.  The Rev. John Cassady, pastor of Waynetown Baptist Church conducted the funeral service held at the family residence in Waynetown Thursday afternoon with burial in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.

  Waynetown, June 29—Mrs. Flora Ella Solomon, 59, died at her home here on Tuesday after an illness lasting eight months. She was married to John Solomon in 1906 and lived here for ten years.
  Surviving is the husband; one son, Paul, of Kingsport, Tenn.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Grenard of here; four brothers, John Cromwell and Walter Cromwell, both of Illinois, Richard Cromwell of here and Hugh Cromwell of Tennessee; and two sister, Mrs. Bessie Chase and Mrs. Minnie Steadman, both of Kingsport, Tenn.
