SOLOMON, Christine Hancock Minick Booe - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mellott – Christine (Hancock) Minick Booe Solomon, 79, formerly of Mellott, died at 2:20 p.m. Feb 27 1996 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica.  She was born at Stone Bluff April 15, 1916 the daughter of Frank and Lillian Kunkle Hancock.  She was       first married to Walter Minick.  She later married Russell Booe, who preceded her in death.  She then married Kenneth Earl Solomon July 13, 1975 in Houston, Texas.  He preceded her in death May 22, 1991.  She had lived several years in Stone Bluff, Houston and Attica and had recently resided in Mellott before moving to the nursing center in March 1995.  She had attended school in Stone Bluff.  She had formerly worked for Radio Material Corp in Attica and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene at Attica.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Lou (William Brimberry, Conyers, Babb three stepdaughters, Patti Sue Abbott and Kathy Lee Gonzales.  She was preceded in death by a stepson plus Patti and Kathy Lee Gonzalades;  both of Houston, Frank Hancock Lake Placid, Fla; 12 grandchildren; 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  She was a preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Minick, 5 brothers and a sister.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Friday) at Maus Funeral Home, Attica with Rev. Richard Carty officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery, Stone Bluff.  --– kbz
