Mrs. Anna S. Sollars, 75, formerly of Lafayette R 10, died in Union Hospital at Terre Haute at 11:50 a.m. Thursday. In failing health several years, she was hospitalized only a day.  Born in Fountain County, she was married in 1900 to James M. Sollars who died in 1955. Since the death of her husband, she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Ervin Prout at Terre haute. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church near Rossville.  Surviving with Mrs. Prout are two other daughters, Mrs. Robert Fassnacht of R 10 and Mrs. Charles Lewis of Lafayette; three sons, William R. and Lloyd D. Sollars of Lafayette and Paul Sollars of Phoenix, Ariz; a brother, Daniel Ramsey of Lafayette and three sisters, Mrs. William Pierceton of Hoopeston, Ill; Mrs. Rachel Smith of Frankfort and Mrs. Mollie Switzer of Alamo. – kbz

Sollars, Mrs. Anna S – Friends may call after 1 p.m. Saturday at Zahn-Schneider Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. James Clayton of Terre Haute officiating; burial in Miller Cemetery at Lodi. 28 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren survive.
