HILLSBORO-- Troy Snyder, 54, prominent Hillsboro office supplies salesman and for the last three years the national trophy chairman of the United States Table Tennis Assn. (of which he was voted the outstanding official last year), died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at his Hillsboro home. He died suddenly of a heart attack. Born in Petit on June 16, 1901, he was the son of Albert E. and Edna Peters Snyder. On Aug. 12, 1931, he was married to Fern Danielson. He was a member of the Crawfordsville Presbyterian Church, of the Crawfordsville Elks and Masonic Lodges, of the Indianapolis Scottish Rite and Shrine and of the Hillsboro OES. Survivors include the widow; the mother of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Jean Barton of Mulberry; one sister, Mrs. Verna Newhouser of Coral Gables, Fla.; one brother, Glen of Charleston, Ill., and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsboro Methodist Church, with Rev. G. T. Johnson officiating. The body will lie in state for one hour before the services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the Crumley Funeral home in Hillsboro. --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO—Funeral services for Troy A. Snyder, who died of a sudden heart attack at his home in Hillsboro Saturday evening, were held from the Hillsboro Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. G. T. Johnson officiated and organ music was by Mrs. Mildred Cooper. The pall bearers who also served as flower bearers were: Ernest Myer, Jack Crane, Charles Shade, Joe Newman, Frazier Hesler and Howard Colson. Masonic service was presented by Hillsboro Lodge No. 385 for the Montgomery Lodge No. 50 of Crawfordsville. Maurice Williams gave the graveside ritualistic service with Donald Harshbarger acting as senior warden and Robert Janeway as chaplain. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. --typed by Walt W
