Mary Roberta Hutchins Snyder, 86, Crawfordsville died at 8:50 p.m. Friday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mrs. Snyder formly resided at Waynetown from 1951-1975 and resided at New Richmond. She was an Eastside Baptist Church member and Veedersburg HS graduate. She was born 3-11-1914 at Veedersburg to Robert and Mildred Bright Hutchins. She married Howard Snyder on 2-24-1934 at Veedersburg. He died 12-14-1975. Survivors are two sons, Stephen of Crawfordsville and H. Kenneth, Waynetown; two brothers, Robert Hutchins of Danville, Indiana and Dan Hutchins of Fresno California; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Twin daughters and a sister are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Rev. Wayne A. Manago officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of the services Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzeheimers Association.

CRAWFORDSVILLE — Mary Roberta (Hutchins) Snyder, 86, 2005 Lebanon Road, Crawfordsville, died at 8:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2000 in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. She was born March 11, 1914 in Veedersburg, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Bright Snyder. She married Howard Snyder Feb. 24, 1937 in Veedersburg. He preceded in death Dec. 14, 1975. She formerly lived in Waynetown and from 1951-1975, she resided in New Richmond. Since 1975 she had resided in Crawfordsville. She was a graduate of Veedersburg High School. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Crawfordsville. Survivors include: two sons, Stephen (Janice) Snyder, Crawfordsville and H. Kenneth (Jenny) Snyder, Waynetown; two brothers, Robert Hutchins, Danville and Daniel Hutchins, Fresno, Calif., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twin daughters and a sister Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with the Rev. Wayne A. Manago officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. – jlr
