HILLSBORO— Clarence L. Snyder, 56, died suddenly Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at his home of a heart attack. He was born March 27, 1908, in Hillsboro to Elsworth and Lulu Nine Snyder. He was married to Mildred Hutts of Hillsboro. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge and the OES at Hillsboro. Mr. Snyder was a municipal accountant with the firm of Snyder, McClellan & Associates and with the firm of Snyder-Ford & Associates. He is survived by his father; wife; three sons, James, Dwight and Leon Snyder, all of Hillsboro; four sisters, Mrs. Resa Johnson of Indianapolis, Mrs. Mabel Hardt of Beverly, N.J., Mrs. Louise Allen of Muscatine, Iowa; and Mrs. Nina Hicks of Clermont; two breathers, Ernest and Orin Snyder, both of Indianapolis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Crumley Funeral Home. Rev. Ross Kirk will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Clarence L. Snyder, 56, passed away suddenly at his home in Hillsboro at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, of a heart attack.
He had been engaged in business in Hillsboro for a number of years.
Mr. Snyder was born March 27, 1908 at Hillsboro, the son Elsworth and Lulu Nine Snyder.  He was married to Mildred Hutts of Hillsboro.  He was a member, of the Hillsboro Christian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 385 and Fern Chapter Order of Eastern Star No. 194 of Hillsboro.
Mr. Snyder was a municipal accountant with the firm of Snyder, McClellan and Associates and also of the firm Snyder-Ford
and Associates, both situated in Hillsboro.
Survivors are the widow; three, sons, James, Dwight and Leon, all of Hillsboro; and his father. Four sisters, Mrs. Resa  Johnson of Indianapolis, Mrs. Mabel Hardt of Beverly, N. J., Mrs. Louise Allen of Muscatine, Iowa, and Mrs. Nina Hicks of Clermont.
Also, two brothers, Ernest and Orin of Indianapolis, and four grandchildren of Hillsboro.
The family will receive friends at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Friday afternoon and eveing.  Casket will be closed by
request of the family.
Funeral services will be at the Crumley Funeral Home at 11 a. m. Saturday. The Rev. Ross Kirk will officiate arid burial will
be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro.
