SNYDER, Charles A.

Charles A. Snyder, 84, retired Waynetown business man, who
was one of Montgomery County's pioneer flour mill operators, died
Friday evening at the home of a son, M.B. Snyder. He had been ill two
weeks with a heart ailment. Born Feb 26, 864, near Waynetown, where he
spent his boyhood.
Mr. Snyder was the son of John W. and Mary Parnell
Snyder. He was married Oct 19, 1887, to Ana Brown of Crawfordsville who
died July 20, 1946. In recent years Mr. Snyder had engaged in
farming. He also was in
the garage business in Waynetown. Surviving, besides
the son, are an adopted daughter, Mrs. Roy Hamm of Hammond; four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. funeral services were held on Sunday
afternoon at the home of the son with burial at the Waynetown Masonic
