SNYDER, Carl - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Carl Snyder, 76, died Wednesday, November 30, at West Moreland Carl Center in Lake Forrest, Illinois.

  Born July 17, 1908 in Corydon, he was the son of Alva and Alta Snyder. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and farmed in the Hillsboro area most of his life. He married Lamoyne Ellmore, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church.

  Survivors include two daughters, Carol Ann Snyder of Phoenix, Arizona, and Carla Smith of Muncie; three sisters, Mrs. Kermit Cooper of Kokomo, Mrs. Van Schemerhorn of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Thelma Ingersoll of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Snyder.    The body was cremated. – thanks to S
