Ashley Dean Snyder, 75, of Attica Route 1, a life resident of Fountain County, died Saturday (Jan. 17, 1970) at the Americana Nursing Home in Lafayette. He had been a patient there three weeks. Born May 23, 1894, in Fountain County, he was the son of Simon and Maude M. North Snyder. He was married in 1913 to Alma Morgan, who survives. Mr. Snyder was a prominent businessman, having owned Snyder's Record Shop. He had attended the old Pyle School in Davis Township. Other survivors include two sons, George of Attica Rural Route and Frederick of Lafayette Route 7; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Westfall of Lafayette and Mrs. Carl Latta of Commerce, Calif.; and 16 grandchildren. Services Tuesday at the Roemer Funeral Home. Burial in Green Bay Cemetery, east of Attica. --typed by Walt W
