Funeral services for J. Arthur Snyder, age 84, of White Cloud, Mich., former resident of Covington and Hillsboro, who died Monday, March 28, at Gerbers Hospital in Freemont, Mich., were held Wednesday, March 30, at a Freemon funeral home. Burial was in Monia View Cemetery at Muskegan Heights, Mich. Mr. Snyder, who has been hospitalized several days, was born in Covington July 30, 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Snyder. The family moved from Covington to Hillsboro and in 1920 to White Cloud, Mich., where he had resided since. He was married in Hillsboro Dec. 25, 1898 to Lelah Law, who preceded him in death. He is survived by: two daughters, Mrs. Zeta Foster of White Cloud, and Mrs. Ava Grossenbacher of Coopersville, Mich. and one son, Arthur W. Snyder of Freemont, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter and one son. --typed by Walt W
