SNOUWAERT, Minnie - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Minnie SNOUWAERT, 92, former of Ft 2, Attica died in Regency Place, Lafayette at 5 pm. Friday May 23, 1997. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born in Tippecanoe County near Odell on Oct 3, 1904 the daughter of Leo and Mary Smith Snouwaert.  She had been a resident of Fountain County for over 50 years and had lived on the family farm most of her life. She had resided in Regency Place since 1986.  She had attended Odell and Jackson schools and had been a homemaker, making her home with her brother. Surviving is: a brother, Leslie Snouwaert. She was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.  Funeral services were held in Salem Cemetery east of Attica at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with Pastor Junior Haas officiating.  Burial was in Salem Cemetery. – kbz
