Marion A. Snider, age 69, resident of Attica Rt. 2, died at 5:30 p.m, Thursday, June 23, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette.
Mr. Snider was born in Tippecanoe County, Oct. 23, 1896. He was a veteran of World War I and had been employed at the Indiana Gravel Co. He retired in 1961,due to ill health. He was married Dec, 26, 1927, at Lafayette, to Leotha Peak, who survives. He was a member of the St. Francis Zavier Catholic Church of Attica.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: four sons, James of Montana, Joseph L. of Daytona, Ohio, George D. of Attica and Marion F. in the Army at Ft. Collins, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Mary Hatke of Crawfordsville Rt. 6; three brothers,
Walter of Lafayette, Alva of Attica and Clarence of Stockwell; seven sisters, Mrs. Grace Fix of Attica Rt. 2, Mrs. Ethel
Jaynes and Mrs. Louise Williams, both of Attica, Mrs. Hazel Acheson, Mrs. Mamie Marks and Mrs. Orpha Bogel all of Lafayette, and Mrs. Belva Funk of West Point; and 16 grandchildren.
