ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) – Mrs. Laura Edith Snider, 66, of 112½ N. Perry, Attica, died at 9:40 p.m. yesterday (Sept. 26, 1968) in St. Elizabteh Hospital in Lafayette where she had been a patient a short time. She had been in ill health 20 years and seriously ill three weeks. Born June 12, 1902, in Fountain County, she was a daughter of Martin Taylor and Amanda Waymire Cain. She had resided east of Riverside before moving to Attica nine years ago. She was married Jan. 1, 1918, at Covington, to Jesse Snider, who preceded her in death in 1959. Mrs. Snider was a member of the Riverside Evangelical United Brethren Church. Surviving are three sons, William of Lafayette Route 8, Robert of Attica Route 2 and Glen of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Wilson of Battle Ground, Ind., and Mrs. Thelma Brier of Attica with whom she made her home. Also, a brother, Ray Cain of LaPorte; three sisters , Mrs. Ruth Bodle of Attica Route 2, Mrs. Goldie Yater of Kingman and Mrs. Pauline Holycross of Hillsboro; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the De Sutter Funeral Home. The Rev. Harry Randolph will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
