Source: The obituary is from a collection of newspaper (paper names not recorded) obituaries saved, by Fauniel Hershberger, during the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Funeral services were held here at 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, at the Hegg Funeral Home for James Grover Suiters, age 73, who died at 9:45 p.m. Friday, June 21, in the 10th St. Veterans Administration Hospital, Indianapolis. He had been in ill health for several years and a patient at the hospital since May 3. The Rev. Glenn Ray officiated. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery at Yeddo. Pallbearers were: Rex Earlywine, George Jackson, Jim Robinson, Mont Saltsgaver, Dale Hughes, and Jesse Wise. Military services were conducted by American Legion Post No. 350. Mr. Suiters was born Dec. 26, 1889, in State Line, the son of Edgar and Lily Swafford Suiters. A farmer in the Perrysville area for most of his life, he never married. Mr. Suiters was a member of American Legion, Post No. 350 of Perrysville, and a member of World War I Veterans Post 1195. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hamm of Linton, Mrs. Maude Neely of Wheatfield and Mrs. Edna Lawson of Perrysville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.   --typed by Walt W
