Hillsboro - Maurice D. Stonecipher, 72, a farmer in the Hillsboro community since 1915, died Thursday night in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where he had been a medical patient since April 24. Born Nov 18, 1887, at Corydon, Mr. Stonecipher was the son of David and Emma Albon Stonecipher. He married Jennie smith Aug 21, 1910 at Corydon. Mr. Stonecipher was a member of the Undenomination Church at Hillsboro. Surviving are the widow; a son, Cecil Stonecipher of Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Fern Clark of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ruth Sutton and Mrs. Ruby Sheidler, both of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Mrs. Jacie Kineer of Veedersburg and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro with burial at Wayentown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
