STEVENS, Herman Merle

Herman Merle Stevens, 65, of Rt. 3, a farmer near here the last 28 years and also employed at Kitts Gravel Co. and by the county highway department, was fatally stricken while in the yard of his home Monday. He died at noon at Culver Hospital. Mr. Stevens was a member of the United Methodist Church at Noblesville. He was born Sept. 1, 1906, near Attica, a son of James Oliver and Leona Rogers Stevens. He was married Sept. 1, 1928 to Nellie Naomi Keller, who survives. Also surviving are a son-in-law and daughter, Norman and Delores Virginia Wagner of Culver, Ind., and a granddaughter, Barbara Anne. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. John Servies the minister and interment in Masonic Cemetery.
