Covington - Ruth D. Snoddy, 89, of Covington died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She had been ill one year and a patient 3 days. Mrs. Snoddy was employed many years in the Covington Community School cafeteria. She had lived all her life in Covington. Born Feb 10, 1889, at Covington she was a daughter of Samuel and Mary A. Briner Diffenderfer. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harris (Mildred) Miller of Covington; a son James W of Indianapolis, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A son, a brother and sister are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Bodine & Shelby here with Rev. Edgar Allen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today.
