NORTH, Russell D - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

 Russell Dean North of RR 1, Attica, age 47, died Wednesday evening, October 7, in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He was born in Lafayette, April 26, 1934, the son of Lowell Dan and Nellie M. Taylor North. March 25, 1955, he married Patsy Jean Biggs, who survives. North served eight years on the Davis Township Advisory Board and served as president of the holding corporation that financed the new Attica Junior-Senior High School. He was a member of Attica Presbyterian Church.

  Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Nellie North of RR 1, Attica; and two sons, Bart Dean and Colin Wayne, both at home.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial as in Salem Cemetery east of Attica. – thanks to S
