Covington—William G. Nolan, 67, Covington, formerly of Danville, Ill., died at 6 a.m. Friday, April 7, 1989 at his residence.
He was born Dec. 21, 1921 at Byron, the son of Warren and Edna Paddock Nolan. He was married July 30, 1948 at Williamsport to Betty Kinney, who survives.
He was retired from the Hires Trucking Company. He was a member of the Teamsters Local No. 26. His hobbies included fishing, the outdoors and most of all, his grandchildren.
Surviving besides his wife are six sons, Kenneth, Westville, Ill.; William W. and Randy, both of Okeechobee, Fla.; John Covington; Russell, Danville, and William M., Villa Grove, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Cheryl) LaTourette, Perrysville, and Mrs. Jeff (Kelly) Boyle, Okeechobee; two brothers, Robert, Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Raymond, Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Evelyn Hilligus, Ocala, Fla.; two half brothers, Steve Nolan and Russell Nolan, both of Danville; one half sister, Donna Lowe, Danville; 24 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Pape Memorial Home with Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Fraternal Cemetery, Kingman. -s
