Elizabeth C. Day daughter of Jacob and Celia Day was born 12 Oct 1859 being 55 Y 5M 15D of age. She was united in marriage to Tobias Nolan on 1 May 1879 and died 1 Apirl 1914. To this union were b. 11 children all of whom are living: Mrs. George Gant of Indianapolis; Nell Nolan; Mrs. Will Collins of Williamsport; Mrs. Dan Romine of Clay Co In ; Charles and WIlliam of Attica INd; Ransom and Thurman of Clinton In and Mrs. Oth Co ? of Rockville, Ind Roscoe of Indianapolis and Allison. Nell and Allison made their home with their parents here. There are 17 grandchildren. She was a good neighbor ready at all times to lend a helping hand a faithful and loving wife and mother, devoting her whole life and strength to the welfare of her family. All that loving care and medical aid could do was done to prolong the life of the one so dear to them all, but in vain. Besides the immediate family, she leaves a large number of relatives and friends to mourn her departure. Funeral services were held at the Christian Church last Friday morning at 10 conducted by Rev. Carney a former pastor but now of Veedersburg.

ELIZABETH C. DAY, daughter of Jacob and Celia Day, was born the 12th of October, 1859, and died April 1st, 1914, being 55 years, 5 months and 15 days of age. She was united in marriage to Tobias NOLAN on the 1st day of May, 1879. To this union were born eleven children, all of whom are living—Mrs. George Gant of Indianapolis, Nell Nolan, Mrs. Will Collins of Williamsport, Ind., Mrs. Dan Romine of Clay Co., Ind., Charles and William of Attica, Ind., Ransom and Thurman of Clinton, Ind., Mrs. Otha Cox of Rockville, Ind., Roscoe of Indianapolis, and Allison. Nell and Allison made their home with their parents here. There are seventeen grandchildren. MRS. T. B. NOLEN died at her home in this place early Wednesday morning after several weeks of illness. Funeral services will be held from the Christian church today (Friday) at 10 o’clock, Rev. Carney officiating. Deceased leaves a large family of children and a husband to mourn her departure.
