Hillsboro- Charles Glascock of Hillsboro received news of the death Tuesday at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis, of a cousin, Mrs. Bertha Nolen, 62, of that city. She had been ill the last 10 weeks. She was born and reared in the Wallace community and had been employed a number of years in Indianapolis. Surviving is the mother, Mrs. Bell Allen. Funeral services are to be Thursday morning in Indianapolis with graveside rites at 12:30 p.m. that day at the Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace.
Note: it was pointed out that "Mrs. Bertha" is incorrect - the only Bertha Nolen (Nolan) in Wolf Creek is Bertha Z. Noland and this is her 1901-1963 - thanks Lena for sending this obit and thanks to Patricia P. for finding the REAL Ms. Bertha Nolan :) kz
