Veedersburg - Vernon Noggle, 70 of Rt 3, Veedersburg died Tuesday in his home here. He was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and Veedersburg F&AM. He was born in Vermillion County June 13, 1907, a son of Freeman and Kate Jones Noggle. He married Myrtle Brown May 11, 1929 at Sterling. Surviving are his wife, a son, Roderick of Rt 4, Veedersburg, a daughter, Mrs. James (Donna) Furr of LaCrosse, Wis; a brother, Virgil of Oakland, Calif; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Marie) Conrad, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Ray (Florence) Holton of Greencastle and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Parham Funeral Home here with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery. friends may call at the funeral home. Masonic rites will be conducted at 8:30 tonight. - kbz

Veedersburg—Services were held at 2 p.m. EST Friday at the Sterling Christian Church for Vernon Noggle, 70, of Veedersburg Route 3. He died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday (December 6, 1977) at his home.

  Robert DeVerter, Fountain County coroner, attributed death to natural causes.

  The Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiated. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. Masonic rites were at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Parham Funeral Home. Friends were received for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

  Born June 13, 1907, in Vermillion County, Ind., he was the son of Freeman and Kate Jones Noggle. On May 11, 1929, in Sterling, he married Myrtle Brown, who survives.

  Other survivors include a son, Roderick Noggle of Veedersburg Route 4; a daughter, Mrs. James (Donna) Furr of LaCrosse, Wis.; a brother, Virgil Noggle of Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Marie) Conrad of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Roy (Florence) Holton of Greencastle; and four grandchildren.

  Mr. Noggle was a member of the Sterling Christian Church and Veedersburg Masonic Lodge 491 F & AM. -s
