COVINGTON – Ola Noble, 84, a lifelong resident of Covington, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been a patient five weeks. Mrs. Noble was a member of the First Church of Christ and the Builder’s Class. She was born Oct. 25, 1886, in Fountain County, the daughter of George and Sarah Holt Ritchey. She married Almond Noble who preceded her in death in 1919. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Cornett of Covington, Mrs. Roy (Lula) Auter of Covington and Mrs. Oral (Eva) Hale of Covington; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Services for Mrs. Noble will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington with Rev. Harold Fogle officiating. Burial will be in Bend Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
