NINE, Ivan Boord - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ivan Boord Nine, 83, 108 N. Dry Run Road, Veedersburg, died at 4 a.m. Sept. 28, 1996 in his residence. He had been in failing health for several years. He was born near Hillsboro, April 4, 1913, the son of Archie C. and Bessie Boord Nine. He married Dellamae Hershberger April 28, 1942 at Veedersburg. She survives. He was a life resident of rural Veedersburg. He was a 1931 graduate of Hillsboro High School. He had farmed all his life near Hillsboro. He was a member of the Mellott United Church of Christ. Surviving, besides his wife, are: three sons, Joe Nine and Don Nine, both of Veedersburg, and Archie Nine, Hillsboro; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, with the Rev. David Frazeur and the Rev. David Shoaf officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
